One of the questions I keep getting from readers is some version of how do I bring up the topic of not having sex with my honey?
They are all surprised at how many other people are asking the same question.

The reality is most couples who have a sexless marriage don’t decide this is what they want, they just sort of slip into it.

So, to help those couples, and the ones who haven’t had the nerve to ask, I decided to do this post, with links to a number of other posts that have been published over the last 3 years about what happens that some couples slip into this pattern, and tips on what they could do to start being intimate again.

Start with How to Slip into Not Having Senior Sex At All for an overview of what happens to many couples and the bind they find themselves in.

Then take a look at How to Avoid the Trap of Low Desire. Desire is the basis for intimacy, and can easily be disrupted by relationship issues. Trouble outside the bedroom often moves down the hall and into bed.

Other couples find they have gotten so busy, somehow intimacy, making love has just slid off their radar. They “forget” or “don’t have the time or energy.” Check out Are You Letting Your Life Interfere with Your Satisfying Senior Sex Life?

Or maybe one of you is stuck in the past, still angry and fuming about a wrong that was done. You find yourself unable to get over it and unwilling to be intimate until he or she makes amends. Take a look at Is Hurt or Anger Destroying Your Satisfying Senior Sex?

Sometimes your health is the issue. It may be hormones. While this is a hot issue for many women, men can also have hormone issues that interfere with their ability to achieve and sustain an erection, or even experience desire.

So, follow all the links, and then show this post to your honey. Like I said in the video, blame me if your honey gets upset…but be sure you both read the articles and talk about what is going on at your house.
